Taylor Swift has once again won hearts around the world, this time with a deeply moving act of generosity on Christmas Day that reportedly left a stadium worker in tears.
The global pop superstar is said to have personally tipped staff at Arrowhead Stadium following the Kansas City Chiefs’ Christmas Day matchup against the Denver Broncos, spreading holiday cheer far beyond the field.
According to a story widely shared by fans on social media, Swift took time to thank stadium employees as she exited the venue alongside Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce and his mother, Donna Kelce.
One of those employees, catering attendant Robyn Gentry, later recounted the emotional encounter in a Facebook group dedicated to the singer.
Gentry claimed that Swift stopped to personally thank her for working on Christmas Day before discreetly placing cash in her hand and wishing her a merry Christmas.
“She came toward me and said Thank you so much for working on Christmas, please take this,” Gentry recalled in her post.
It was only moments later that Gentry realised the scale of Swift’s generosity. The cash reportedly totalled $600, an amount she said equalled her entire paycheck for two weeks. Overwhelmed by the gesture, Gentry admitted she immediately burst into tears.
“My whole paycheck for two weeks. I had just dropped that much for Christmas for eight kids,” she wrote, explaining how meaningful the moment was for her family during the holidays.
Gentry added that she even framed one of the bills as a keepsake, describing the experience as something she would never forget.
The Christmas Day tip came during a week that also highlighted Swift’s large-scale philanthropy. It was recently revealed that she donated $1 million to Feeding America, with the organisation publicly thanking her for helping families facing hunger during the holiday season.
This is far from the first time Swift has been recognised for her generosity. Over the years, she has been spotted tipping stadium staff, security workers and service employees at major events, including NFL games and awards ceremonies.
During her record-breaking Eras Tour, the singer reportedly gave out around $197 million in bonuses to crew members.
