The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Immigration stopped a passenger at Jinnah International Airport, Karachi, over his alleged involvement in illegal donation collection and begging activities abroad.
According to FIA officials, the passenger, identified as Aman Ali, was traveling to Malaysia on a visit visa. During immigration clearance, officials detected misuse of the visit visa, prompting further scrutiny. Aman Ali belongs to Hyderabad.
Investigations revealed that the passenger was allegedly involved in begging and collecting unauthorised donations during his foreign visits. His travel history showed multiple trips to countries including Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Indonesia and Malaysia.
FIA officials said that videos, chat records and affidavits related to illegal donation campaigns were recovered from the passenger’s mobile phone. The material indicated that he had been collecting donations abroad in the name of mosques and madrasas without authorisation.
Following the initial inquiry, the passenger was handed over to the FIA Anti-Human Trafficking Circle Karachi for further investigation and legal action.
