Head of Muslim Conference Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) Sardar Atiq Khan met with Pakistan Muslim League (PML-N) president and former Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Tuesday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Sardar Atiq announced in a meeting with Shehbaz Sharif that Muslim Conference will support PML-N candidates in the general elections on which Shehbaz Sharif thanked the Muslim Conference for its support.
Talking on the occasion Shehbaz Sharif assured Sardar Atiq that after February 8, we will resolve the Kashmir issue according to the right of self-determination of Kashmiris.
Muslim Conference and Pakistan Muslim League-N are two parts of the same stream, said Shehbaz Sharif.
Shahbaz Sharif said that with our unity, the strong voice for the Kashmir issue will go to the world forum.
Meanwhile, city president PML-N Hafizabad Rai Javed along with important office bearers of PML-N announced to quit party.

Those who left the party were not happy with party’s decision over the ticket in PP-38.
Sincere workers with the party have been neglected for a long time, they accused the party leadership.
Giving ticket to a new candidate in the party is negation of our sacrifices, they said.
They announced that they will join PTI and will support its candidate in the election.
