Shah Rukh Khan once again reminded fans why he is often called the ultimate superstar, after a brief but telling moment at Mumbai airport went viral online.
The actor flew out of Mumbai early Thursday morning, with several photos and videos capturing his arrival at the airport circulating widely on social media. What truly caught public attention, however, was his calm and respectful interaction with a CISF official at the terminal gate.
For his travel, Shah Rukh kept things casual and understated. He was seen wearing a white T-shirt layered with a blue hoodie and matching trousers. He completed the look with a black beanie, dark sunglasses, and a travel bag slung over his shoulder.
In one widely shared video, Shah Rukh is seen stepping out of his car and walking toward the terminal entrance. At the security gate, a CISF official, smiling warmly, checked his documents before politely asking him to remove his sunglasses, referring to them as “goggles.”
Without hesitation, Shah Rukh immediately complied and took them off. He appeared to briefly ask the official if everything was fine. The officer nodded, smiled back, and returned his documents. Before heading inside, Shah Rukh gently patted the official’s arm, a small gesture that fans quickly latched onto as a reflection of his humility.
The interaction sparked an outpouring of praise online. One fan commented, “He is king for a reason. He did as he was asked to do. And also made the person's day.” Another wrote, “The CISF official did his job even if it was one of the biggest celebrities in front of him. That's commendable.” A third user added, “This is adorable! Big praise for both of them.”
Others focused on Shah Rukh’s demeanor, with one Instagram user noting, “He immediately obliges and agrees to the CISF official. No tantrum.”
According to Gulf News, Shah Rukh was traveling to Dubai, where he is set to be honoured with the Global Style Icon award at the Dubai Mall Global Fashion Awards. The event is scheduled to take place from January 29 to 30 as part of the Dubai Mall Festival of Fashion.
On the work front, Shah Rukh will next be seen in Sidharth Anand’s upcoming film King. The film also stars Deepika Padukone, Suhana Khan, Abhishek Bachchan, Arshad Warsi and Anil Kapoor. Produced by Red Chillies Entertainment and Marflix Pictures, King is slated for release in 2026.
In addition, Shah Rukh will lend his voice to The Lion King: Celebration in the Sky, a fireworks show set to debut during the Disney Adventure cruise’s inaugural sailing in Singapore on March 10.
