Punjab Secretary for Law Bahadur Ali Khan has resigned from the post, 24News HD TV channel reported on Friday.
The law secretary submitted his resignation to Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar.
The Punjab Services Department would notify his resignation after approval of the Punjab CM.
When contacted on Friday, Bahadur confirmed that he had submitted his resignation to the CM.
Bahadur, a retired sessions judge, had taken the charge as the law secretary in September last year. He had replaced Nazir Ahmed Gajana.
