A case has been registered against 22 students arrested from the Quaid-e-Azam University hostels in Islamabad for inciting other students against university administration, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Wednesday.
According to the text of the FIR, after the cancellation of the summer semester on July 8, the students were ordered to vacate the hostels.
However, the students challenged orders of university administration in the Islamabad High Court, but the court dismissed the application on July 18.
According to the university administration, 160 students were residing illegally in four hostels.

The case has been alleged that the students attacked the security with iron rods, sticks and batons, damaged property, resisted and interfered in the work of the government.
The case also includes allegations of threats of serious consequences and provocation.

QAU’s security in-charge receives thrashing at the hands of students
Students of the Quaid-e-Azam University (QAU) and lawyers on Wednesday subjected the university’s security in-charge Colonel (r) Nadeem to torture at Islamabad’s district courts.
The son of the university’s lawyer Raja Zahurul Hassan was also tortured.
QAU’s security in-charge and Zahur were stepping out of the courtroom at the conclusion of the hearing when they were beaten up by the students and lawyers.
