The four children drowned in a pond in Kharian on Wednesday, reported 24NewsHDTV Channel.
According to rescue teams, the sad incident took place in Hayata Pura where two children who were playing a pond drowned and died on the spot. In order to rescue them two more children entered in the pond but instead of rescuing the victims both children also stuck in the mud and died.
The victims were between 9 to 16 years of ages. The dead bodies were alter handed over to the families.
