Veteran Pakistani actor and writer Mohammed Ahmed has appealed to the public to stop harassing actress Jenan, actor Faizan Sheikh, the director, the crew, and others who were present on the set during the incident he spoke about.
In a caption shared on Instagram, Mohammed Ahmed said he has no complaints against Jenan, Faizan Sheikh, the director, the crew or anyone else on set.
He explained that while some people laughed during the incident, it did not mean they intended to disrespect him, as people sometimes laugh out of discomfort or because they do not realise how deeply a situation is affecting someone else.
"I had an issue and I addressed it," he wrote, and further clarified that everyone mentioned has always treated him with respect.
He also thanked people for supporting him but requested fans not to harass or abuse anyone online with saying it is time for everyone to move on.
The statement comes days after Mohammed Ahmed recalled on Sheeba Khan's podcast Dareecha that a younger actor had allegedly mocked his appearance, acting style and hairstyle in front of the cast and crew during a shoot.
Although he did not initially reveal the actor's identity, social media users later identified the actor as Fahad Sheikh
,who eventually acknowledged the incident and issued a public apology.
