A goat was slaughtered in the United States (US) Consulate in Karachi on Eid Day, reported 24News HD TV Channel on Thursday.
According to the report, the staff of the American Consulate in Karachi extended greetings to all Pakistanis on the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha.
The staff of the US Consulate, in a show of solidarity, also visited a goat market located 2 km away from the Karachi consulate and also bought a white goat.
After slaughtering, the goat was cooked in the US Consulate and the staff enjoyed the meal.
The US Consulate office staff said that the goat meat was very juicy and tasty.
The US Consulate Karachi also released the video on its official Twitter account on Eid Day.

Ulema, in their Eid sermons, highlighted the significance of the philosophy of the great sacrifice rendered by Hazrat Ibrahim (AS) and Hazrat Ismail (AS).
Later, people offered the sacrifice of animals to follow the Sunnah of Hazrat Ibrahim (AS).
