The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has issued notice to Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-Neader Ahsan Iqbal to appear on June 2 in connection with Pakistan Tehrik-i-Insaf foreign funds case.
According to the notification Friday, the ex-minister is called to show up at 11am along with proof and evidence relevant to the case. Ahsan is allowed to send his lawyer to attend the hearing, it said.
The decision will be made if he failed to appear, the ECP said. In a letter to the commission, Ahsan called for hearing PTI foreign funding case on a daily basis.
