President Dr Arif Alvi appointed the Election Commission members from Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) on Monday.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, Babar Hassan Bharwana from Punjab and Justice (Retd) Akram Ullah Khan from KP have been appointed.
The appointments were made on the advice of the Prime Minister under Article 218(2B). Both the posts became vacant after the retirement of the former members.
