Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar met with Chinese counterpart Wang Yi in Hong Kong on the sidelines of the IOMed conference, reported 24NewsHDTV Channel.
According to spokesperson, it was Ishaq Dar’s second meeting with Chinses foreign ministers in less than 10 days.
Pak-China foreign ministers discuss bilateral relations, progress on key projects. The meeting also discussed cooperation in various sectors including CPEC.
Earlier, Deputy Prime Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar met with Chief Executive of Hong Kong John Lee. They discussed proposals to further deepen economic, investment and trade cooperation through multiple streams.
Dar congratulated the Chief Executive on the successful establishment of International Organization for Mediation (IOMed) while highlighting Hong Kong’s unique role as a global hub linking East and West and its growing significance in international mediation. The Deputy Prime Minister also commended the Pakistani community in Hong Kong for strengthening bilateral ties.
The Chief Executive of Hong Kong expressed eagerness to further enhance collaboration with Pakistan.
