Family members of Shahnaz Baloch, affiliated with a Baloch terrorist organization or Fitnatul Hindustan, on Saturday dissociated themselves from her, saying they had nothing to do with her, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Speaking at a press conference at Turbat Press Club, Shahnaz’s mother Rukhsana, her grandfather and maternal uncle said that Shahnaz had shifted to Oman when she was a child and that she had not been in contact with them for the last 12 years.
Rukhsana said that Shahnaz’s father had passed away when she was only nine months old.
She added that neither she nor any other family member had any idea that Shahnaz had extremist tendencies or was associated with any banned outfit.
Her family members said that they were peace-loving Pakistanis, who had nothing to do with any activity of Shahnaz, and they always had a respect for the law as well as the state institutions.
The announcement made by Shahnaz’s family members is a proof that the people of Balochistan are now sick of terrorism and want peace.
