The police have arrested four tourists for beating local youth in Murree, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Saturday.
According to police, the tourists came in a Vigo vehicle and started beating two youth who were riding a motorcycle on View Fourth Road.
The police said that they have arrested the four youth and have also taken their vehicle into custody but did not give the reasons which triggered the incident.
District Police Officer (DPO) Murree Raza Tanvir Sipra declared that mistreatment and torture will not be tolerated. “Strict legal action will be taken against the accused,” he added.
He further maintained that there would be no compromise on the protection of the citizens as law is equal for everyone.
