Heavy snowfall has disrupted traffic along the scenic Naran–Babusar route, turning the high-altitude mountain road into a hazardous stretch for tourists and commuters, 24NewsHD TV reported on Saturday.

The district administration of Mansehra issued a travel advisory for Babusar Top, urging travellers, transporters, and tourists to exercise extreme caution amid continuous snowfall.

Officials said persistent snowfall has created difficult driving conditions and is likely to further disrupt movement along the route. Travellers have been advised to monitor weather updates closely and assess road conditions before starting their journeys.

According to the administration, traffic flow has already been affected in several sections of Babusar Top and nearby areas, with movement restricted to one-way traffic at certain points.

Authorities also warned that travel becomes highly risky after 6 pm due to intensified snowfall during the evening hours.

Officials highlighted multiple dangers, including extremely slippery roads, possible brake failure, falling rocks and glaciers, and the risk of landslides, any of which could result in loss of life and property.

The public has been urged to avoid unnecessary travel and wait for official clearance before using the route, while strictly following instructions from local administration and police.
