A man shot dead his father-in-law while his brother-in-law escaped bullets over a Rs3,500 dispute in Gujranwala, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Saturday.
The incident took place in Mohallah Rehmanabad. Police said that the deceased, who was later identified as Afzal, was passing through a street when his son-in-law took notice of his presence and demanded money.
A clash erupted between them after which the accused opened fire on his father-in-law and brother-in-law. Afzal died on the spot while a little girl standing nearby was injured.
In another incident, a young man was killed after an exchange of hot words in Gujranwala. Police said that a clash erupted between the victim and the accused at a games shop.
After receiving the report, a police team rushed to the site and shifted the dead body to the District Headquarters Hospital (DHQ).
After collecting all the evidence, the police started an investigation.
