On the last hearing, the court had given him the deadline of November 30 (today) to show up.

Six days ago, the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) had seized the properties and froze the bank accounts of Moonis in a money laundering case.

As many as eight bank accounts of Moonis were frozen in Lahore in which he had received more than Rs480 million, an amount which he later withdrew.

Moreover, the Agency also confiscated six properties, five in Kasur and one in Rawalpindi, owned by the PTI leader.

Apart from that, it has been learnt that the government has initiated the process to bring Moonis, who is son of PTI President Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi Elahi and has been living in Spain since December 2022, back to Pakistan.
