Increase in petrol and diesel prices has been proposed fortnightly review of rates was due tomorrow, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Thursday.
According to sources, it has been proposed to increase one liter of petrol by Rs1.48. If approved, the price of petrol per liter will be Rs264.50.
Moreover, a liter of high-speed diesel is proposed to increase by Rs1.38.
After the approval, one liter of high-speed diesel will increase from Rs275.42 to Rs276.80.
Similarly, a liter of kerosene oil is proposed to be increased by Rs2.34.
A liter of light diesel is proposed to be increased by Rs0.48.
After the decision on the new prices of petroleum products, it will be implemented from November 1.
