Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Qamar Javed Bajwa expressed heartfelt condolence on the sad demise of Amir of State of Kuwait, Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, ISPR tweeted.
The military medial wing said the army chief prayed for the departed soul and bereaved: May Allah Almighty bless his soul and give strength to the bereaved family to bear this irreparable loss.

Kuwait’s emir Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah died after a protracted illness at 91. The monarch had ruled over Kuwait for more than a decade.
In 2006, He came to power after Emir Sheikh Saad al-Abdullah stepped down after nine days. He had also served as Kuwait’s Foreign Minister from 1963 to 1991 and from 1992 to 2003.
