Punjab CM, cabinet members visit Service Hospital, review under-construction projects

Punjab Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi with his cabinet members visited the Services Hospital and the sites of under-construction projects.

During the visit to Service Hospital, the cabinet members took rounds of the model ward and model room and inspected the public health service delivery.

Talking to the media, the CM reiterated his resolve to ensure better healthcare facilities and listed his government’s feats

He stressed the Services Hospital is being upgraded. He shared with the media the steps his cabinet had taken to improve public service delivery.

He clarified that the fake injection scam has nothing to do with eye flu. He stressed the measures are being taken to cope with the challenge.

Later, the CM-led delegation paid a visit to the Nawaz Sharif Interchange Bedian Road Underpass project.

They reviewed the progress of the construction works. Officials concerned briefed the visiting dignitaries about the progress.

Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi expressed his satisfaction with the work project.

The chief minister told the media that the interchange will open for traffic by October 17 if rain does not hamper the ongoing work.

Day and night work Ghorha Chowk flyover and Khalid Butt Chowk underpass projects is underway and would be completed soon, the chief minister said.

He said no compromise will be made on the quality of the project and Nespak is closely monitoring the quality of all projects as a third party

Suspicious people have been arrested due to fear of terrorism, he said, adding that the Punjab government did not raise fares though fuel prices have gone up

The fares of Metrobus service and Orange Line train fares remains unchanged, he said adding that the  Punjab government is giving subsidy.

Provincial ministers, police chief, and other officials concerned accompanied him.
