The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) on Tuesday notified the appointment of the opposition leader and deputy opposition leader in the Punjab Assembly.
According to the notification, PTI founding member Moin Qureshi will be the opposition leader in the Punjab Assembly and Hafiz Farhat Abbas will perform duties as deputy opposition leader.
PTI Additional Secretary General Firdous Shamim Naqvi has issued the notification. Last night, Salman Akram Raja announced the appointment of Moin Qureshi as the opposition leader.
Peer Moeen Ud din Riaz Qureshi is PTI South Punjab president and MPA from PP 215 Multan. He served as Punjab Sports Minister during 2001-06. His father also remained Member of the National Assembly. He’s nephew of Makhdoom Shah Mahmood Qureshi, vice president of the PTI.
