A policeman embraced martyrdom, and another became seriously injured when a speedy car hit a police van at T-Chowk in Rawat, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.
The police van was parked for a snap check. Both vehicles were completely damaged in a road accident. The dead policeman was later identified as Tehseen, who was the driver of the vehicle, and the injured cop was Sajid.
Police said that the driver of the car escaped from the scene.
