Pakistani actor Nameer Khan has given female viewers a blunt reality check about toxic relationships, urging them to stay away from men like his Dar-e-Nijaat character, Zamil.

Taking to Instagram, the actor shared a glimpse from the acclaimed drama and issued a direct warning alongside the clip.

“Girls! Stay away from such narcissists,” he wrote.

Nameer later reshared another emotionally intense scene featuring an encounter between Zamil and Zaryab, played by Dur-e-Fishan. Bathed in striking red lighting, the scene captures the growing emotional tension and deterioration of their relationship.

The text appearing over the video read: “Reality of haram relationship. Once love fades, disrespect begins.”

Reiterating his message, Nameer added another pointed warning for viewers: “Girls! Stay away from boys like Zamil. Such a narcissistic individual.”

Through the back to back posts, Nameer appeared to distance himself from Zamil's increasingly toxic behaviour while using the character as an example of relationship red flags.

In Dar-e-Nijaat, Zamil's insecurity and frustration have increasingly shaped his behaviour towards Zaryab. After failing to get into Harvard alongside her due to his lower GPA, he struggles to deal with the disappointment and begins projecting his resentment onto Zaryab.

Rather than taking responsibility for his shortcomings, Zamil's behaviour becomes increasingly controlling, aggressive and emotionally damaging, exposing the darker side of his personality.

Nameer's posts have drawn attention for openly calling out his own character's behaviour. By telling young women to stay away from men like Zamil, the actor turned a dramatic storyline into a broader warning about recognising controlling and disrespectful behaviour in relationships.
