Preparations for the marriage of Junaid Safdar, the son of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, are in full swing these days as Maryam and former prime minister Nawaz Sharif did shopping at a Mall in Dubai, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Wednesday.
A picture of the Punjab CM and the former prime minister doing shopping has surfaced.
Junaid will marry Shanza Sheikh, the granddaughter of veteran political figure Sheikh Rohale Asghar.
Speaking about the development, Rohale has said the wedding events will be held from January 16 to January 18, 2026.
The Mehndi ceremony will be held at Jati Umra, while the Walima will also take place at the same venue.
The celebrations will remain private, with only close family members in attendance.
He said that both families were pleased with the match.
