Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif received Saudi Ambassador to Pakistan, His Excellency Nawaf bin Saeed Ahmed Al-Maliki, at the Prime Minister’s House on Wednesday evening.
During the meeting, the Prime Minister conveyed his respect and good wishes for the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, as well as the Saudi Prime Minister and Crown Prince, Muhammad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.
He expressed satisfaction with the strong bilateral relations between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia and reaffirmed his commitment to further strengthening the longstanding brotherly ties between the two nations.
Prime Minister Sharif highlighted his previous meetings with the Crown Prince, describing them as fruitful in advancing Pak-Saudi relations, and appreciated Saudi Arabia’s consistent support to Pakistan in times of need, as well as its constructive role in promoting regional peace and stability.
The discussions also covered recent regional and global developments, with the Prime Minister emphasizing the importance of maintaining peace and stability through dialogue and diplomacy.
The Saudi Ambassador conveyed a congratulatory message from King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and reiterated Saudi Arabia’s desire to enhance cooperation with Pakistan in all areas of mutual interest.
