The legal team representing the jailed former prime minister Imran Khan, founder of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), arrived at Adiala Jail on Saturday, urging the authorities to provide the complete medical report amid growing concerns over Khan's health.
The delegation, led by Advocate Hasnain Sumbal, submitted a formal request to the jail administration seeking transparency regarding the medical condition of the former prime minister. The legal team said that the family of the PTI founder has so far been kept unaware of his current health status.
Advocates Raja Mateen, Qazi Noorul Islam, Owais Younis, Jamshed Khan and others were also part of the delegation.
The lawyers stressed that doubts and concerns surrounding the PTI founder’s health could only be addressed if the full medical report is shared with the family and legal representatives.
According to sources, the request has been received by the Adiala Jail administration. Further developments are awaited.
