The latest episode of Zanjeerain has sparked widespread discussion after viewers noticed Daniyal Zafar briefly smiling during an emotional scene, a moment that quickly went viral across social media.

While many fans believe it was an editing oversight rather than the actor's mistake, the incident has put the drama's post-production quality under fresh scrutiny.

The discussion began after an emotional sequence featuring Daniyal Zafar's character, Sarbuland, included a brief moment in which he appeared to smile before the scene ended.

As the drama is known for its intense and emotionally driven storytelling, many viewers felt the expression interrupted the mood and reduced the impact of the scene.

Viewers also pointed to another sequence in which Zarmala appeared to smile and nod unexpectedly, leading many to believe that more than one editing oversight had made it into the final cut.

As clips from both scenes spread online, fans shared screenshots, reaction videos, and memes, turning the moments into one of the drama's biggest talking points.

Despite the criticism, many social media users defended Daniyal Zafar, saying actors often laugh or break character during filming and that such moments are normally removed during editing or corrected through retakes. According to many viewers, the responsibility lies with the post-production team rather than the actors.

One viewer commented, "Too obvious for a mistake, but why would the editor keep it? I don't understand, considering such a big project. Feeling bad for Daniyal though."

Another wrote, "The editing team of Zanjeerain needs to do a better job. It's usual for actors to laugh while doing scenes, but they could take retakes or edit these scenes."

A third user remarked, "It's not him, it's the editor who's bad at his job. Wondering who's this editor."

Another comment read, "Editing krty waqt nahi dikhta TV walo ko ye scene, ajeeb comic drama hai," suggesting that such a noticeable mistake should have been caught before the episode aired.

Several viewers even questioned whether the scene had been left in intentionally. One fan joked, "This was intentionally left in. I saw it in the episode. It's not possible that the editor could have missed this unless they were sleeping."

The editing slip came shortly after another scene that had already generated discussion, in which Sarbuland repeatedly used the word "antiseptic" while instructing someone to treat a bullet wound despite being seriously injured himself.

The latest criticism has also revived conversations surrounding reports that director Shahzad Kashmiri was no longer involved in the latter part of the project

Despite the criticism, Zanjeerain continues to perform strongly. The Hum TV drama remains one of the channel's biggest successes, attracting millions of YouTube views while maintaining a strong television audience.

Many fans believe its compelling storyline and the chemistry between the lead characters continue to keep viewers invested despite the recent technical criticism.
