Quetta-bound PIA flight PK-235 suffers bird hit in Islamabad

Quetta-bound Pakistan International Airline (PIA) flight PK-235 suffered a bird hit on Sunday morning, which partially damaged the flight’s operation, however, all the passengers in the plane remained safe, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

PIA spokesperson said that all passengers on board were safe despite the bird strike. The flight was safely brought back to Islamabad airport amid security measures.

The spokesperson of the national carrier said after the incident flight was damaged partially and an alternative flight was arranged. The next flight will depart for Quetta at 12.30 pm carrying all the passengers, PIA spokesperson said.
