Two Rawalpindi police officers have been booked on charges of extorting money from a doctor and threatening to frame him in a drug case.
The case has been registered on the complaint of a doctor who alleged two Rawalpindi policemen extorted Rs 25,000 from him and threatened to frame a drug case against him.
This happened in the Chandni Chowk area, where, according to the complainant, the policemen thrashed him while trying to put drugs in his pocket.
The accused are named as Subtain and Jahanzeb, and the Rawalpindi CCPO issued orders to nail them.
