Railways Minister Hanif Abbasi chaired a meeting to review progress on development projects, 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Saturday.
All Divisional Superintendents attended online and presented progress reports on development work in the meeting. The meeting focused on improving services and raising quality standards. Strong measures were approved to boost performance.
The minister stressed early completion of all projects.
Abbasi said that provision of efficient and quality service to the public was government’s top priority.
During the meeting, plans were discussed to upgrade the railway system with modern technology and improve employee performance. Special attention was given to cleanliness and environment in railway colonies.
The minister also called for quick solutions to ongoing problems and a solid strategy for the future. He said that unity and cooperation to take Pakistan Railways to new heights under his leadership.
