The Sindh budget for the next financial year (FY), 2025-26 will be presented on June 13, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Saturday.
Quoting its sources, the 24News TV channel reported that in this connection, the Sindh finance department had sent a summary to the provincial chief minister Syed Murad Ali Shah, who would deliver the budget speech.
Sources further said that 15 to 20 per cent raise in government employees’ salaries was likely to be announced in the budget.
The Sindh cabinet will also meet on June 13 at which the budget’s approval would be sought.
The provincial assembly’s session was expected to be convened on June 12.
