Kyiv-launched drones killed a child in occupied Ukraine on Sunday, Moscow-installed authorities in the Kremlin-held south of the country said.
Russia's full-scale offensive against Ukraine in February 2022 has turned into Europe's deadliest conflict since World War II but diplomatic talks to end the conflict are deadlocked.
Kremlin-backed authorities in the occupied Kherson region said a boy born in 2020 was killed when a Ukrainian drone hit a residential building in the town of Genichesk, on the Black Sea near Crimea.
Vladimir Saldo, a Moscow-installed official, said five people were also wounded in the attack, which he said hit a "multi-flat residential building".
Genichesk fell to Russian forces on the first day of their full-scale offensive on February 24, 2022.
After Ukraine retook the city of Kherson in a counter-offensive in the autumn of that year, Russian occupational authorities moved their administrative centre to Genichesk.
Kyiv, meanwhile, said Russian attacks killed a woman in the Dnipropetrovsk region.
The local governor, Oleksandr Ganzha, said a 50-year-old woman was killed in the Nikopol district in an attack that also wounded four people, two of them seriously.
Russia has hit Ukraine with a daily barrage of drones and missiles since 2022 and occupied swathes of the south and east of the country.
