The security forces have foiled a possible terrorist activity in southern Balochistan, killing a wanted militant in the action, said a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) on Saturday.
The security forces conducted an intelligence-based operation and raided a terrorist hideout of a proscribed organisation in Buleda, District Ketch.
A high-value target responsible for killing innocent civilians, extortion and attacking security forces was killed during the operation.
A large cache of arms and ammunition was also recovered during the operation. During the exchange of fire, a soldier was also injured.
