Despite the global market observing a soar in rates of the yellow metal but Pakistani market witnessed a big decrease in prices of gold on Monday.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, the per tola price of 24 karats of pure gold decreased by Rs1,200 and was sold at Rs212,100.
The price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold also decreased by Rs1,028 to Rs181,842 whereas the price of 10 grams of 22-karat gold went down to Rs166,688.
The All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association reported that the price of per tola and ten-gram silver remained constant in the local market at Rs2,550 and Rs2,186.21 respectively.
On Monday, the price of gold in the international market was increased by $20 to $1,992 per ounce.
