The body of a local volleyball commentator was found in a well in the Kallar Syedan area near Rawalpindi, 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Monday.
According to reports, Shafiq Gujjar went missing on Friday night and his brother approached the local police to get a complaint registered.
The Kallar Syedan police registered a kidnapping case.
As per the FIR, Shafiq Gujjar went out to drop his friend Zahid Ilyas home and did not return and the latter went to Sialkot as he was approached
Police and rescuers reached the spot and retrieved the body.
Investigators are piecing together evidence.
