Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has bought a multi-storied building adjacent to the iconic Gaddafi Stadium where a high-end hotel will be built for international teams to stay, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Thursday.

Controlling the traffic during the international cricket matches in Lahore becomes a headache for the Lahore administration, PCB has found a solution to the traffic problems in the city during the international matches.

According to sources, the multi-storied building was bought for PKR 4 billion which will be renovated and transformed into a seven-star hotel to accommodate international as well as local players.

By building the seven-star hotel, the traffic problems will be controlled.

Earlier, when any foreign team came to Pakistan took stayed at Pearl Continental (PC), however, all roads between PC and Gaddafi Stadium were closed to take the players to the stadium.

This causes traffic block due to which the citizens had to face serious problems.
