The prices of several items at utility stores have been increased with immediate effect, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Wednesday.

The prices of Ghee and cooking oil have been increased from Rs25 per liter to Rs35 per liter while the prices of powdered milk for the children are now up by Rs10 to Rs40 per liter.

Similarly, the price of a bottle of shampoo has gone up by Rs4 to Rs20 while that of Surf by Rs20 to Rs45.

Likewise, Rs7 increase has been made in the price of bath soap.
