Murree Marathon: Initiatve to promote tourism

A marathon race was organized on the beautiful and spacious site of Murree by the Garrison Headquarters and Pakistan Civil Administration in which people of different categories were participated with all their strength and capabilities, reported 24NewsHD TV on Saturday.

The race consisted of eight and a half kilometers that went to start from Mall Road and ended at Army Public School (APS).

 The race was divided into three categories: children, adults, and young people.

The marathon race was organized jointly by the Pakistan Civil Administration and Army to create awareness among people by promoting tourism in Murree and preserving its beauty.

On this occasion, the children of the Army Public School were also presented instructional sketches on the growing environmental pollution that was greatly appreciated by the population.

At the end of the program, Garrison Murree commander Major General Wajid Aziz also distributed awards to the recipients of the awards.
