A local wrestler Tayyab Raza Awan on Sunday defeated Yusuf Pehlwan in the second semifinal for the Rustam-e-Lahore title, reported 24NewsHD TV channel. 

The fight lasted for 23 minutes at the Shehbaz Sharif Stadium, China Scheme Lahore.  

Heera Pehlwan has already qualified for the Rustam-e-Lahore title that is being organized after a gap of 25 years.   

Tayyab Raza Awan and Heera Pehlwan will clash in the title fight on Dec 11.  A large number of people watched the semifinal fight and expressed their enthusiasm on the occasion.  

Lahore Wrestling Association president Mehr Akram aka Kala Pehlwan supervised the fight. 

North Lahore Desi Kashti chairman Lala Shahid Pehlwan and vice chairman Shahbaz Pehlwan, secretary Ch Murtaza, Shahid Khoywala, Adil Butt, Mithu Pehlwan assisted Kaka Pehlwan.

Mehr Akram alias Kala Pehlwan, Arshad Sattar and Farid Pehlwan said that they had fulfilled their promise to organize Dangal. They said that the final will be held in a grand manner. 

They further said the Dangal will be held in Lahore on regular basis. “They are trying to restore the splendor of the arenas in the city. They expressed their determination to make a big Dangal every year. They also requested citizens of Lahore to encourage wrestlers by watching Dangal.
