Former prime minister and PML-N leader Shahid Khaqan Abbasi said on Monday that Rs2 billion are being looted from public every day.

Speaking to the media outside the accountability court, the PML-N leader said that the government has been a complete failure since the day it assumed the charge in 2018. However, the former prime minister consoled the people that good days will come.

During the court hearing in LNG reference case, the AC extended Khaqan Abbasi’s judicial remand till February 21.

A report on fugitive Shahidul Islam was presented in the court by NAB officials.

Meanwhile, another PML-N leader Javed Latif was summoned by NAB regarding investigation into assets case.

NAB demanded details about the assets shares and properties transferred to Javed Latif’s mother.
