The government has directed the Board already set up to examine the medical reports of former prime minister and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) supremo Nawaz Sharif, who is currently in London, to give its opinion on fresh information provided about his health, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Friday.

Quoting sources, the channel reported that the Board had been asked to submit its report within five days.

Professor Arif Nadeem is the Medical Board’s convener, while other members are Professor Ghayasun Nabi Tayyab, Professor Saqib Saeed, Professor Shahid Hameed, Professor Bilal S Muhauiddin, Professor Ambreen Hameed, Professor Shafiqur Rehman, Professor Mona Aziz, Professor Khadija and Professor Irfan Khawaja.

It is reminded that the Board had refused to give its opinion on the former prime minister’s medical reports last month, saying they were incomplete.
