Imran Khan holds meeting to decide NA and PAs election candidates

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan will decide the candidates for national and provincial assemblies, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

A decision to this effect was taken during a meeting of the PTI leaders held here on Saturday. The meeting was called to finalize the candidates for the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) assembly.

The former prime minister Imran Khan presided over the meeting.

PTI secretary general Asad Umar, former KP chief minister Mehmood Khan, PTI KP president Pervez Khattak, and senator Shibli Faraz were prominent among the leaders who participated in the meeting.

The meeting extensively discussed the probable candidates to run for the vacant seats of the national and provincial assemblies.  The meeting also reviewed the initial recommendations of the Regional Boards regarding the selection of candidates.

The participants also considered the various aspects of the election campaign and election strategy in KP.

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan directed to speed up preparations for elections in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

He also instructed the officials to complete the homework regarding the candidates early.
