FIR registered over CTD officers murder in Khanewal

A case against a terrorist attack near Khanewal town of Punjab in which two Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) officers embraced martyrdom has been registered, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

CTD Multan Police station registered a case under the provisions of murder, attempted murder, and anti-terrorism.  

According to the First Information Report (FIR), a case has been registered on the complaint of the victim's driver.  The terrorist namely Umar Khan came on a motorcycle with automatic weapons hidden in a cloak and attacked CTD officers. After the shooting, he escaped alone on the motorcycle. Umar Khan fired at the officers at the behest of the banned organization. Assistant Director Naveed and Inspector Nasir were dining at a hotel when they came under a gun attack by the terrorist.
