Senior Punjab ministers spoke their hearts out against the provincial budget for the financial year 2021-22 during the cabinet meeting, chaired by Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar, on Friday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Finding flaws in the draft of the money bill, the ministers reportedly asked as to who was making the Punjab budget and how it was being made.

The Punjab law minister, on the occasion, remarked that he and other members of the cabinet were not aware that the budget was in the making. “We don’t have details of the budgets of different departments,” he regretted.

“Ask the secretary if you don’t have budget details with you,” Punjab Minister for Finance Hashim Jawan Bakht advised the law minister.

On seeing that tempers were running high, CM Buzdar tried to cool them down.
