Former Interior Minister Rehman Malik has said that everyone should stand by the army, reported 24News HD TV channel.

Talking to media men on Thursday in Islamabad, the former interior minister said that he had already predicted that there would be voices against the army. He said the enemies were spending millions of dollars on the propaganda campaign against our army but we should not listen to that.

Rehman Malik said that America was withdrawing its forces from Afghanistan without proper planning. He said he was foreseeing a civil war in Afghanistan. He demanded that the international powers should play their due role for peacekeeping in Afghanistan. He said the UN should depute peacekeeping armies in Afghanistan. He said that Pakistan had played a key role in peace and stability in Afghanistan.
