The blaze that has set four forests on fire in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is wreaking havoc not only with the fauna and flora of the jungles, it has also consumed four lives including a mother and her three children in Tehsil Chaksir of Shangla, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

As per details, the jungle fire has been raging at six points in the KP forests including Chaksir Kaprai Mountain, Buner Elam, Mingora Pathanay Mountain and Char Bagh Mountain.

Fire erupted in Chaksir Kaprai Mountain in Shangla due to unknown reasons. The fire is spreading quickly and it is engulfing nearby houses. The locals and the fire brigade are trying their best to extinguish the fire but to no avail.

The ferocious fire seems hard to be doused as it is spreading fast.

According to reports, the mountains in Swat are quickly becoming prey to the raging fire. Thousands of precious trees on the mountains have already burnt down. But it’s a pity that no relevant authority is giving a damn to this natural calamity and owing to their nonchalance, fire is continuously spreading.
