The ruling Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has issued show-cause notices to two of its MPAs from Sindh over violation of party discipline, reported 24NewsHD on Thursday.

It has been decided that strict action will be taken against the two lawmakers – Aslam Abro and Shehryar Khan Shar – for violating party discipline within seven days. PTI Standing Committee on Discipline and Accountability Chairman Salman Aftab issued notices to both the MPAs.

Earlier, three disgruntled members of PTI were attacked as they arrived in the Sindh Assembly a day before the voting for Senate elections.

Later, Aslam Abro, while talking to media persons, said that they took part in the elections on their own.

The lawmaker further said that he is and will remain a member of PTI but will cast vote for Senate elections according to his conscience.
