Pakistani boxer Shaheer Afridi has won the Asian Continental title by defeating the Thai boxer, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Saturday.

Shaheer Afridi won the Middleweight World Boxing Council silver belt title in the third round. Thai boxer Sampoth Seesa could not defend his title. He was challenged by Shaheer Afridi. Shaheer announced his title to be named after the martyrs of the Karachi Police Office attack.

Shaheer belongs to Sindh Police Rapid Response Force (SPRRF).
