Talking to 24News, he said that he was the leading taxpayer of the country. “I was honoured with ‘Sitara-i-Imtiaz’ for paying the highest amount of tax,” he said, adding, “Now I have decided to serve the people of Nazimabad.” He went on to say that Najeeb Haroon, a member of the National Assembly (MNA) belonging to the PTI, had turned the area into ruins. “Ever since he won the election in 2018, he never bothered to return to his constituency,” Mansoor said, adding, “We can put the house in order; all that we need is interest.”

He said that North Nazimabad was his birthplace. “I am familiar with its streets and localities and know people here. Election or no election, I will live here in the midst of my people,” he concluded.
