American comedian McLellan praises Pakistan initiative to air Ertugrul

Pakistan Television Corporation (PTV) launched an Urdu-dubbed version of the hit Turkish series “Dirilis: Etrugrul” or “Resurrection: Etrugrul,” after Prime Minister Imran Khan’s personal request.
The drama serial has been an instant hit. The first episode of “Ertugrul” received more than 400,000 views in the first 24 hours after it was posted on the YouTube channel of PTV Home.
American Comedian Jeremy McLellan also praised the serial and appreciated the Prime Minister initiative to air the show.
Taking to Twitter, the comedian wrote : "Really enjoying Ertugal so far. Most of my knowledge of Islamic history was learned with a pro-Christian bias so it’s nice to see it told from the perspective of the bad guys."

Etrugrul is a drama of multiple series on theTurkish culture and the struggle of Muslim leaders, especially Ertugrul who paved the way for Ottoman Empire in Turkey—which later became the centre of Islamic movement around the world, and particular in eastern Europe and other states
Earlier, in a video message, Prime Minister Imran Khan urged the youths to watch Ertugrul series to learn Islamic history and ethics.
The Prime Minister Office shared his video message on Twitter, with a caption: “Prime Minister Imran Khan shares his views over PTV telecast of famous Turkish drama serial Diriliş: Ertuğrul; it will make our youth learn about Islamic history and ethics."
